Local arts gallery hosting food drive to help provide Thanksgiving meals

123 Studios, an arts gallery in Madera, is partnering with Move For Hunger, a national non-profit organization, to host a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help provide meals for their neighbors in need. Members of the local community are encouraged to donate non-perishable, Thanksgiving-themed food items, such as instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing and canned vegetables at 123 Studios to help support the effort.


WHERE: 123 Studios, 123-D North D Street, Madera, CA 93638

WHEN: November 12-13, 8 a.m. – Noon

Over 20,000 people, including 1 in 4 children, in Madera County face hunger each day. Through the support of partners like 123 Studios, Move For Hunger can continue to help the almost 50 million Americans struggling to find their next meal.


Move For Hunger is a non-profit organization that mobilizes the relocation industry to fight hunger and reduce food waste. In addition to collecting food from people who are moving to new homes, Move For Hunger helps companies and individuals across the United States and Canada organize successful food drives.
