Vote for the best high school football rivalry in the Central Valley

maxresdefault
A recent story in the San Diego Union-Tribune focused on one of the top high school football rivalries in the area between Cathedral Catholic and St. Augustine. (Cathedral Catholic cruised to a 35-0 victory in this year’s #HolyBowl on Friday night.)

According to the L.A. Daily News, Cathedral Catholic and St. Augustine is the fifth-best rivalry in Southern California behind Garfield-Roosevelt, Santa Ana Mater Dei-Servite, Carson-Banning and Pasadena-Muir.

Of course, that got us thinking about the best rivalries in the Central Valley. We haven’t consulted experts like the Fresno Bee’s Andy Boogaard or the Clovis Roundup’s Paul Meadors, but we thought we’d see what our readers thought.

Click on your favorite below or let us know one we missed in the comments area. Here’s guessing our top five compare pretty favorably with those down south.
